Relativism means that the truth changes from one generation to the next, one culture to the next, or even with each individual. The bible stands against relativism:
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
– Hebrews 13:8
It would be bad news if God changed his mind all the time so this is really good news about the Good News! We don’t need to invent new ways to follow Jesus. God and his word never need to change. Because you can’t improve on perfection, anyway!
So, if we want to be followers of Jesus (Go With God!), we just need to look at what Jesus said about what it means to truly follow him in the bible. And that’s what this bible study is all about!
May this study build your faith and security in God to see that even as everything in the world seems to be changing, the ancient truths about following Jesus remain the same.
Warning! These are hard truths. Remember, the road that leads to life is narrow and few find it. Are you ready to be challenged (and inspired) by a strong dose of eternal truth?
